What data we process and why

• Orders and checkout: your name, email, telephone, billing and delivery details, purchased products, order and payment status, and fulfilment details. We use them to perform the sale, deliver products, handle returns and meet accounting or tax duties.
• Account: registration, login, profile, saved addresses and order history. We use these to provide and secure the account you request.
• Customer support and returns: messages, contact details, order references and verification records, to respond and handle your request.
• Newsletter: email, any fields you provide, your consent choice and proof, subscription status, preferences and campaign interaction data where the newsletter is enabled. Marketing email is based on separate consent and can be stopped through unsubscribe or preferences links.
• Wishlist and stock alerts, when enabled: your account or email address and the products you save or ask to be notified about, so we can provide the requested service. Stock-alert emails include an unsubscribe option.
• Abandoned cart reminders, when enabled, use cart details only for an already active newsletter subscriber; a purchase alone does not enrol you in marketing.
• Technical data: security and server logs, session identifiers, locale and cookie choices, to operate, protect and troubleshoot the store. Analytics is optional and runs only after cookie consent when enabled.

Legal bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract (orders and account services), legal obligations (for example accounting), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and answering non-contractual enquiries), or consent (newsletter and optional analytics). You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Who receives data

We share data only when needed with the providers that host the online store, your chosen payment provider, shipping carriers or pickup-point providers, and email delivery providers. Your payment provider processes your card details. The store receives the payment status and the information needed to complete the order, not your full card number. Which providers are involved depends on the choices you make at checkout.

Newsletter measurement

If you subscribe, the web application may record whether you opened a newsletter email or clicked one of its links. Email opens are detected through a small image and may be inaccurate because some email apps load images automatically. To request a copy or deletion of your subscription data, contact support@funkies.gr.

Retention

Order and invoice data is kept for the periods required by applicable tax and accounting law. Other data is retained while needed for the stated purpose and any applicable legal claims, then deleted or anonymised. Newsletter send-history retention is configured by the store; unsubscribing keeps an opt-out record as needed to honour the request. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing where the GDPR provides these rights. You may withdraw consent for newsletter or analytics at any time. Send a request to support@funkies.gr; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Cookies and other browser storage

The separate Cookie Declaration explains the cookies and browser storage used by the storefront and how to change analytics consent. The newsletter popup also saves a dismissal timestamp in local storage. Payment, anti-bot and pickup widgets may load third-party resources only in the relevant checkout flow.
